Rollin for a Cause!

On Saturday, February 17, 2007, two of our member families will be hosting a motorcycle rally to raise money for their adoption expenses. Events will include a motorcycle rally, poker run, public auction, silent auction, raffle, musical entertainment and children's activities. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the ride will begin at 9:00. All activities will be held at the Catfish Wagon Restaurant on Highway 42 East in Petal, Mississippi. We're Off To See the Wizard!

Saturday night Heather and I finished the IRS paperwork that will, hopefully, result in OHOH being granted non-profit status by the federal government. There was a lot of work involved, but we are confident that adoptive families and supportive members of our communities will find the tax break associated with a donation to our foundation attractive. Keep us in your prayers as we continue to work toward the fulfillment of this very important goal.

Open Hearts, Open Homes was founded in 2006 by Christie and Eddie Daniels and Heather and Mark Davis, two famlies from Petal, Mississippi who are adopting from China and wanted to create a foundation that will offer various types of support to adoptive families in Mississippi.
